Program Manager (2019 – 2021)

Developing the certification scheme management activities  at NEN into a full grown service. Setting up a team and structure to strengthen acquisition of new projects, formalising business processes and growing the overall revenues of this service over 50 percent. 

Project leader (2017 – 2019) 

Facilitating the transfer of the certification scheme from ProRail to NEN as the new scheme owner. Setting up project team, governance structure, implementing new revenue model and expanding to new sectors and other countries. Tripling the number of certificates.

Secretary of Technical Committee and three Working Groups (2011 – 2017)

Directing the development of twelve European Standards for Bio-based products, based on a standardisation request by the European Commission. Participating in and liaising with the research projects KBBPPS (EU FP7) and OPENBIO (H2020).

Co-chair / CEN delegate (2013 – 2017) 

Co-chairing the Expert Group with a broad representation of stakeholders, as well as a subgroup on public procurement. The group advised the European Commission on the development of this sector by evaluating implementation of earlier expert recommendations and proposing demand-side industrial policy actions. Contributing to several reports, organising a stakeholder workshop and presenting the final report at the Bioeconomy Policy Day.
